Canada proudly flew the Union Jack until 1945 when it was replaced as a temporary measure by the Red Ensign. In December 1964, after a divisive and extensive debate the Parliament of Canada voted to adopt the Maple Leaf as its official Flag. A proclamation was issued by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth, Queen of Canada on the 15th Day of February 1965 proclaiming The Maple Leaf Our Emblem Dear as the official flag of Canada.The flag is officially known as the National Flag of Canada.

Flag Measures 7.5 ft x 15 ft and is made of 200 dernier nylon with grommets for easy flying. Perfect for where a more durable flag is needed.
