The Flag of the Netherlands Antilles consists of a white field divided by a red vertical stripe in the centre one third of flag. A horizontal blue stripe is superimposed in the center one-third of the flag's hoist, creating quadrants. Both stripes are of equal in thickness. Centered in the intersection of the two stripes against the blue background are five white five-pointed stars arranged in a pentagon pattern with their points up. The five stars represent the five main islands of Bonaire, Curaçao, Saba, Sint Eustatius, and Sint Maarten.
Both Sint Martin and Curacao have voted to leave the Netherlands Antilles and become separate Kingdoms under the Dutch Monarch in a process similar to that which Aruba undertook.
Flag Measures 36 in x 60 in and is 100% polyester with grommets for easy flying.
