A proclamation was issued by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth, Queen of Canada on the 15th Day of February 1965 proclaiming The Maple Leaf Our Emblem Dear as the official flag of Canada.The flag is officially known as the National Flag of Canada. Flag Measures 7.5 ft x 15 ft and is made of 200 dernier nylon with grommets for easy flying. Perfect for where a more durable flag is needed. Made to conform to 1:2 Flag ratio as per prescribed by Parliament. Made in Canada.
