British Columbia 3' x 6' Nylon Flag - BC
SKU: CBC36N

British Columbia was the 6th British Colony to join Canada and became a province in 1871. The official flag of British Columbia was registered with consent of King Edward VII by the College of Arms in London England on March 31,1906. Queen Victoria had rejected the original design for depicting a setting sun above the Union Jack. The BC Flag was authorized for official use by Executive Order on June 27, 1960. The design includes the Union Jack symbolizing the province's colonial origins. Its geographic location between the Pacific Ocean and the Rocky Mountains is represented by the wavy blue and silver bars and the setting sun.

Flag Measures 36 in x 72 in and is made of 70 dernier nylon with grommets for easy flying. Perfect for where a more durable flag is needed.

Made in Canada.
